Club Competition Categories for 2010 - 2011

 

  Each month there is a print, a digital assigned/nature, and a digital open competition.

Quadclub Multiscreen Subjects 2011

AVCC competes with 3 other local clubs each Spring: Lowell Camera Club,

 Nashoba Valley Photo Club, and the Camera Club of Central

New England (CCCNE).  The location of the competition varies

from year to  year depending on which club acts as competition host.

 

 

Each club may submit one digital image in each of the

 following assigned categories:

 

1. A Blooming Rose            6. Pattern(s)

2. B & W + 1**                     7. Photojournalism

3. Extreme Abstract             8. Shoe(s)

4. Fairs and Festivals          9. Wild

5. Frozen                           10. Yellow

** B&W plus one color, but not required.

 

In addition, each club may submit ten open digital images and ten

open prints.

 

All assigned entries must have been taken during the one year

period between the date of the previous year's competition and the date

of the current competition.  For this year, that is between

May 18, 2010 and May 17, 2011.

 

All other entries must have been taken between January1, 2010 and

May 17, 2011.

 

The winning club gets bragging rights and its name on the trophy.

Individual certificates are given to winning individual members.
